Madonna di Campiglio 2012.
This new building shows forms and materials that are in line with tradition, reflecting at the same time a new and innovative language. The result of a long and complex planning process that began in 2004 is a building that is carefully structured not only in its volumes but also in its functions: it houses a commercial area on the ground floor, apartments on the upper floors, utility rooms and a garage on the basement and lower ground floor. The two blocks on the ground floor are diaphanous spaces covered by a light "fibreglass leather coating" and they are separated from each other by the street that overlooks the lake from Viale Dolomiti. On the upper floors, spacious terraces lose their consistency thanks to the wooden ever- changing grids: from the balcony parapet to supporting structures for the ridge.
