"Tradition and Modernity" are two words that hold the "design philosophy" that led to the choices made for the new Town Hall of Strembo. The area involved in the project is in fact the physical limit and the point of transition between the historic heart of the village and the more recently built areas. Similarly, the new building has to represent a "transition point" within the urban context in which it is placed. On the ground floor, the building is split into two blocks: the one to the north is linked to traditional architecture, while the one to the south follows the dictates of modern architecture. The transition from traditional elements to modern ones is achieved through a public path which penetrates the whole building complex recalling the old cort.
