S. Antonio di Mavignola, 2007.
The renovation of the existing building allowed the creation of a new structure in line with green building principles that, although maintaining its original functions, is intended for a younger and dynamic clientele. The project involves the creation of a bar and restaurant on the ground floor and of equipment rooms, a warehouse and toilets in the basement. The structure is made entirely of old wood both as regards the supporting structures and the panels. The only exception is the base of the building, which is made of local stone. Pine wood panels alternate with large windows that allow natural light to filter and illuminate the interior spaces. The glass openings in the restaurant emphasise plays of light and reflections, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
