Villa Cunaccia

Pinzolo, 2009.

An excellent exposure and a large garden explain the choice of placing the living area of this detached house on the ground floor to ensure a constant visual and physical connection between the interior of the house and the outside, thanks to its large windows. The sleeping area in the attic, faces the spectacular staircase covered entirely in marble, connecting with the ground floor. The design of this building adheres to the principles of green building, aimed at energy saving and the optimisation of natural resources. The different exposure sides of the pitched roof are studied according to sunlight changes allowing the use of solar energy as an alternative source to produce hot water and possibly to install photovoltaic panels.
